Important Note on Registration
- Participation in our forthcoming conference is by invitation only, ensuring a highly selective and enriching academic exchange.
- For attendees whose abstracts are successfully shortlisted, as will be announced on 8 May 2024, the following provisions will be made:
- The registration fee will be waived
- Complimentary accommodation for three days and two nights will be provided for one participant from each selected submission originating from outside of East Java or international locations, to support their participation.
- Please be advised that a publication fee will be incurred for those electing to publish their papers.
- All participants will receive a Digital Conference Program Book containing a rundown of conference activities plus abstracts from all participants and invited speakers (both extended and poster abstracts).
- Only extended abstracts selected by the Scientific Committee Members will have the opportunity to be published in nationally accredited Sinta 1-2 journals and reputable indexed international journals. The journal publisher’s review process must still be followed by the authors (including if the publisher charges an APC). The deadline for full paper submission is 2 months after the Conference. - Participants whose extended abstracts are not selected for publication in journals can still submit their full papers (with the same deadline of two months after the Conference). These papers will be published as ISBN/ISSN pro

Registration Step
This conference is using private open journal system (OJS), therefore, all prospective paper shall first create an account for the paper submission on the OJS. Please follow these step.

1. OJS Account Registration
- PICSCAR uses the Open Journal System (OJS) to ensure that the entire editorial and review process is well administered and accountable. For this reason, all invited researchers must upload their extended abstract/full paper/poster in the OJS Portal.
- For submission, you must first create an account, by accessing the link on the button provided (or click here)
- Remember your username and password carefully for logging in to the OJS portal and submitting papers.
2. Paper Submission
- Prospective authors are invited to submit the original, high-quality paper(s) which has not been submitted and published elsewhere. Submitting a full paper/extended abstract/poster abstract is required if the author is willing to publish the paper through the PICSCAR 2024 committee by April 30, 2024.
- If the author is willing to attend the PICSCAR conference as a presenter without the need for journal publication, please submit Poster(s) Abstract
- After Completing the OJS account registration, please login to the OJS portal and make your submission.
- You will receive notification email generated by the system. Please note the submission ID, since you need to indicate the ID in the Conference Registration Form
3. Conference Registration
- Please register yourself here, or through the provided button by April 30, 2024.
- Should there be multiple contributors to a submitted paper who wish to attend the conference, it is important for each individual to fill out the registration form. Please note, for attendees coming from outside East Java or from international locations, accommodation will be provided for one participant. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in facilitating a smooth registration process.
- Please indicate your Submission ID in the registration form. Your Submission ID can be found in your submission tab (in the Open Journal System) or in the confirmation email from the OJS once you upload your extended abstract/poster abstract.
- Registration cancellations must be notified in writing to the conference specialist via e-mail (picscar@petra.ac.id)
